Brake hoses
Land Rover: Late 109" Series III (1980-85): identify by metric threads
stainless steel braided, set with 3 lines with 50 mm extra length
Stainless steel braided brake hoses are the first choice when replacing the original rubber hoses for many reasons. The braking effect is better and more direct because the applied force does not pump up the brake hose but is transferred much more directly to the brake calipers. This improved braking point is the main argument of the proponents. In addition, the stainless steel braided brake hoses have advantages resulting from the material. The hoses are insensitive to marten bites and do not age. Stainless steel lines do not swell or become porous.
