The head gasket sets for the Td5 engine do not include the cylinder head gasket, as this varies in material thickness. To ensure the selection of the appropriate head gasket without disassembling the cylinder head, the cylinder head gasket protrudes at the front right (next to the timing chain guide). There, the head gasket has a certain number of punched holes.
The following cylinder head gaskets are available:
• 371407 with one hole and 1.27 mm material thickness
• 371405 with two holes and 1.2 mm material thickness
• 371409 with three holes and 1.35 mm material thickness.
