Hepolite pistons are manufactured to exacting O.E.M standards and were always original equipment at Jaguar until the 1990s..
Pistons are only supplied complete with rings and pins and only the very best components are included in Hepolite piston sets to ensure the consistent high standard of service expected from the Hepolite products. Tin plated to reduce friction, made from modern alloy to allow for tighter running clearance, (typically .0012" min) and to prevent corrosion. Piston rings are of high quality with wired oil control ring expander. Rings packed separately to allow for custom gap selection.
