A homage to the legendary high-performance tyres of the fifties and sixties with raised sidewalls. These tyres convince with strong details! The model with the exclusive tread pattern in size 6.00 R 16 was developed especially for high speeds.
The speed index (W = 270 km/h) corresponded to the speed that a Jaguar XK150 or Aston Martin of the DB series could reach.
The radial construction provided excellent directional stability and the asymmetrical tread blocks of the tread pattern reduced the running noise.
In November 2009 the exclusive tyre was used in a fantastic record. A Group 2, Class 8 long-distance record of 1.000 km was set on the Millbrook circuit. An Austin Healey completed the incredible average speed of 246.93 km/h!
