Classic Car Spare Parts Porsche
The Porsche 911 replaced its predecessor, the 356, in 1963. The new model was completely at the state of the art in the early 1960s. Self-supporting body and independent suspension were on a par with the competition. The new 2.0 ltr six-cylinder engine initially produced 130 hp. Through continuous increases in displacement and the use of a fuel injection system, output rose to as much as 170 hp in the 911S. The vehicle was available as a coupe and with a Targa roof.
From 1974, the model generation "G", the original model was heavily revised. The only slightly modified body received massive bumpers whose connections were made with characteristic bellows. The vehicle was built in this form until 1989 as a coupe and Targa, and from 1983 also as a cabrio. By the mid-1980s, the displacement had increased to 3.2 litres, giving the engine a perfectly lively 230 hp.
After BMW had demonstrated the possibilities of increasing power through exhaust gas turbochargers with the 2002 Turbo in 1973, Porsche also offered a turbo model from 1974 onwards. The Porsche 930 had a much wider body and a large rear spoiler. In its last stage of development in 1989, the vehicle had a respectable 300 hp.

The other classics at Porsche
However, the 914, 996 and 986 models as well as the four- and eight-cylinder 924, 928, 944 and 968 series, which were produced until 1995, are also among Porsche's popular classics.
One model in particular stands out and was only built 292 times: Biturbo boxer engine with water-cooled 4-valve cylinder heads, electronically controlled chassis, all-wheel drive system and an aerodynamically optimised body - the 959 is arguably the technology leader at Porsche. And although it had a proud price of 420,000 D-Mark, it was quickly sold out!
