Fully assembled steam engine, approx. 19 cm long and 9 cm high, weighing over 1 kg. Very clean and solid, made entirely of aluminium and mounted on a sturdy aluminium base.
The steam engine is a valuable educational toy, instructive for children and amusing for adults. Driven by two small flames, it produces enough steam via the small boiler to keep the flywheel turning eagerly.
Put a little spirit in the two burners, light the wicks and after a few moments the little machine is whirring away...
Even when the little machine is not running, it is simply good to look at. Metal and glass extremely cleanly finished. A kinetic sculpture.
