Not only do you get one-handed convenience, this prop rod also expands several inches farther than the factory prop, giving you much greater freedom when working under the hood. When your bonnet opens this far, it never gets in the way or obstructs lighting. You will be astounded at how pleasurable this prop makes working in the engine bay. Fits all MGB's and Sprite/Midget's with factory equipped telescoping prop rods.
If you wish to shorten the prop to factory spec's it could be done with metal cutting saw.
