Trivalent Zinc/Nickel plated (Zn-Ni) is characterised by very good corrosion protection and high thermal load capacity.
The development of zinc-nickel coatings results from the increasing requirements, especially in the automotive industry, regarding corrosion protection against temperature, road salt and climatic stresses. Zn-Ni coatings are always used when the classical galvanic zinc coating is overstrained by high temperatures or aggressive environmental conditions.
We recommend after-treatment with cavity protection wax.
