Greases
Greases are essentially paste-like lubricating oils. There are a number of applications where it is important that the lubricant does not leave the lubrication point by gravity downwards. It is important that grease remains in grease nipples and grease points, attaches to hinges or locks and remains on poles and threads.
The lubricating oils are saponified with various substances. There are soaps based on lithium, polyureas or PTFE. The lubricating greases as a finished product consist of 80 % oil, 10 % additives and 10 % saponification. The lubricating components are rolled out of the grease over time, which is why regular lubrication is so important.
