In the 1970s, a stove builder named Schumacher hired himself out as a track attendant at the new go-kart track in Kerpen-Horrem to supplement his small income. And his two children passed the time in the speeding little boxes - the rest of the fairy tale is well known.
With Michael Schumacher's triumphal procession, the Kerpen kart club became world-famous and the Mecca of German karting.
The film tells the family success story of the club and its famous children. With rare archive footage from the 80s.
