44 IDF type. Complete kit comprising four inline mounted carburettors, inlet manifold and accelerator cable
Performance kit with revised design to positioned four Weber IDF carburettors in a line along the the manifold between the cylinder heads, much like the early Aston Martin V8, creating an overall lower profile.
The height of the assembly from the top of the intake port to the top flange of the carburettors is 150mm. The stock air horns are 56mm giving an overall height of 206mm. This can be reduced by 40mm by using 16mm air horns and low profile emulsion tube holders
The 44 IDFs in the kit are supplied with the following "starting point" calibration which will allow the engine to start and run.
• Venturi: 36mm
• Auxilliary venturi: 4.5
• Main jet: 135
• Air corrector jet: 175
• Emulsion tube: F11
• Idle jet: 50
• Pump jet: 50
To achieve maximum power, driveability and efficiency, we recommend that you have the carburettors calibrated on a rolling road.
