3.31:1 ratio (teeth: 13/43) - vaiant for type 1 differential
3HA type axles were fitted to early 2.4 models. 4HA type axles were fitted to late 2.4 models and all 240/3.4/3.8 and 340 models. A limited slip differential was standard on 3.8 models but optional on other models. Indification tags on the rear casing show the final drive ration as a fraction e.g. 43/13 representd 3.31:1. Models fitted with limited slip differentials are tagged with the letters "BP-L". Hups, hup caps, spinners and associated items are listed in the Road Wheels section. The crown wheel and pinion fitted to many models may be the same as originally supplied. Please check.
